Hey! So Glad You're Here.
My name is Kennon Evergreen and I am a graduate student at Northern Arizona University specializing in rhetoric, writing, and digital media studies. I have a background at the University of Arizona as a sustainable environment student working on green architecture. I have always loved the environment having lived in the PNW of Washington State where I could hike in the rain and enjoy views of the Columbia River. I currently live in San Tan Valley, Arizona and enjoy the views of Superstition Mountains from my house and the long expanding desert just beyond.

In my teenage years, I started a little campaign to get signatures to stop the use of plastic bags at supermarkets, and while that did get nearly 10k signatures, I stopped as I thought that my pursuit was futile. I have volunteered for my community in countless ways and I am not above picking up litter on my walks around the neighborhood with my husband. I am one of those people, perhaps a result of my upbringing, who likes to get results after my work. I blame capitalism for this flaw of mine. I volunteer at the humane society as a foster parent and I am on my neighborhood block watch but I get frustrated easily at the thought of a world coming towards an impending doom at the hands of billions. I am just one person, what am I supposed to do?

This website is my version of doing something even if it feels scary or hopeless in the grand scheme of things. Because one voice does truly matter, even if it doesn't seem like it now.
A question I have always pondered is... whose fault is it?

Who is melting the ice caps, who is causing deforestation, who is polluting the oceans, who is creating smog in our cities and endangering species around the world? Who is thinning the ozone layer? You? Me? Factories? Walmart? Good paying jobs? What are we to do? Who are we to blame?

Let's explore that together.
